St Fagans Cattery Custom Business Plaque
Stone Sign Company were recently contacted by a client to create two custom business plaques for the exterior of their building.
St Fagans Cattery in Cardiff got in touch with us after their existing business plaque was accidentally damaged, and requested that we create two new signs for them.
Our talented in-house designer drew up two new designs from scratch using the specifications provided by the client. Due to the placement of the plaques, we decided to use high quality Welsh Slate. This durable slate is high performing in outdoor conditions and will retain its beauty for years to come. We selected a thick 20mm Welsh Slate and finished it with clean edges to create the two designs.
Each plaque was then deeply engraved with the requested lettering and finished with a white enamel infill for a crisp, contrasting look. Our expert stone masons then beautifully fine-etched a detailed cat graphic onto both plaques, and each one was then expertly hand finished.
We provided faceless fixings to ensure that no drill holes disturbed the design of each plaque, allowing a clean and uninterrupted look.
